Let me try it the correct way and see. I always upgrade by changing the sources.list file to point at Jaunty and then do an apt-get dist-upgrade, but that is not recommended at all by the (K)ubuntu folks. I may have to patch the upgrade tool and push that update out to the Intrepid systems before an easy upgrade path to Jaunty is available. I would not recommend removing KDE3.5 and then reinstalling it. It has a nasty habit of resetting certain things when you do that (due to the removal of kubuntu-default-settings-kde3 while a user is logged in), such as any Amarok playlists you might have. I hope to have something available in the next couple of days. Sorry about the delay! Tim > Thanks, Tim. That's great news. > > What is the proper procedure for upgrading?
