Hi Luis, I had the same problem. Here is how I solved: In file /etc/default/locale I added: LC_ALL=it_IT.UTF-8 (of course you should insert your language equivalent) In file .bashrc (hidden file in your home) I added: export LANG=en_US.UTF-8 export LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 export LC_ALL=it_IT.UTF-8 Also the following command helped: sudo apt-get install --reinstall language-pack-en sudo apt-get install language-pack-it (install your language pack) Hope this helps.
