 Works with neither nvidia nor ATI cards for me.  To be fair, I am 
convinced all/most of the problems are due to the underlying Ubuntu 
(rushed and botched) distro.  Hopefully by 9.10.2 things will improve.
An aside - Karmic Koala has got to be the oxymoron-of-the-decade!  For 
those of you that have never had to handle one of those dirty, scruffy, 
smelly, scratchy, piddly animals, I can assure you that there are few 
thing with a less attractive karma.
